What Van Dyke Parks "Song Cycle" was to 'psychedelic pop' - Bootsy Collins
"Ultra Wave" was to 'disco' (check out Sound Crack and Sacred Flower!)...
Singular, wildly Inventive and brutally complex good, good, good, good,
good.

"No man, the Ultra Wave man!"

I agree totally that Bootsy Collins's work
was "Singular, wildly Inventive and brutally
complex good, good, good, good, good."
But I've always thought of him more as a
funk artists than disco. There is quite a
difference . . .

And, I'll bet that if you analyze his vocals
and his bass playing, you'll find microtones
galore!
