Re: "Old Grandad" Gamelan Tuning

Lou and Bill's original American Gamelan ("Old Grandad") was always in
5-limit JI. I played on it in 1975 and learned the tuning technique from
Bill, who was then in the process of adding chromatic tones. It was my first
hands-on experience with JI. I don't know what Lou said to Kraig, but there
was clearly some misunderstanding. The New Albion _Koro Sutro_ recording is
definitely in JI.
