Kraig and I may have some disagreement over what constitutes a melodically
based 7-limit scale but I encourage Kraig to expound upon his view. The only
"melodic" property that I recall Kraig ascribing to his centaur tuning is
the constant structures property, which all the scales I posted also have,
by virtue of the requirement that they be rough approximations to 12-tET.

Kraig, My apologies -- I see that you mention tetrachords on your centaur
page -- please explain more. Note that the symmetrical 12-out-of-22 tuning I
mention contains not only two symmetrical decatonic scales but also two
pentachordal decatonic scales -- which have the property that all 10 octave
species contain two identical pentachords, separated by the approximate 4/3.

>This one also has 4 tetrads

As I said in my post, there are many ways of doing it!
