About some temperaments (names / inconsistencies)

Hi,

I want to ask if someone can help me with some temperament names, partly because there are some inconsistencies.

1) The 7-limit head of the horwell family which tempers out the horwell comma 65625/65536 is called horwell. Analogously, can I call the 7-limit head of the porwell and nuwell family porwell and nuwell, respectively? Or, is the 7-limit head of the porwell family called hewuermity, as the temperament finder suggests?

And what about the 13-limit zeus extensions? Xenharmonic Wiki lists tridecimal zeus (121/120, 176/175, 351/350) and tinia (66/65, 121/120, 176/175), while the temperament finder says 13-limit zeus is the one tempering out 66/65, 121/120, 176/175.

2) According to the Xenharmonic Wiki, 11-limit gorgo tempers out 36/35, 56/55, 1029/1024, while the temperament finder calls it spartan, and claims gorgo is the one tempering out 36/35, 45/44, 1323/1280.

3) Xenharmonic Wiki lists the 7-limit temperament that tempers out 81/80, 1029/1024 as mothra, while the temperament finder calls it cynder.

4) Two clearly distinct temperaments share the same name, sensa:

"Hewuermity" comes from Gene's old list of 7-limit names.

I added that Zeus in April 2011. It isn't contradicted by any of the pages I scrape.

This is an inconsistency in the wiki. 11-limit gorgo comes from the "proposed names for rank 2 temperaments" page.

This is on of a list of collisions that I ignore. There are good reasons for cynder being valid that I can't remember now. It's a case where there's more than one valid name for a particular temperament class in a particular prime limit.

The collisions I ignore:

u'Untriton' in make_names as u'Aufo' (9, -19, 1, 6, -7)
u'W\xfcrschmidt' in proposed as u'Wurschmidt' (8, 1, 18, 1, 7, 3, 15)
u'Cynder' in optimal as u'Mothra' (3, 12, -1, 1, 1, 0, 3)
u'Waage' in optimal as u'Compton' (0, 1, 2, 12, 19, 0, -22)
u'Emka' in chromatic as u'Barton' (8, -1, 5, 1, 6, 3, 6)
u'Mohajira' in chromatic as u'Neutraltet' (2, 5, 1, 1, 2)
u'Mohajira' in chromatic as u'Namo' (2, 5, -1, 1, 1, 2, 4)
u'Sensis' in chromatic as u'Sensation' (7, 9, 13, 10, 1, 6, 8, 11, 10)
u'Dominant' in chromatic as u'Archy' (1, -2, 1, 0, 6)
