Hi,

how do I create a rest in a .seq file?

For example if I need to start with a double whole rest.

Thank you!

just start the note on beat 3 of the bar.
Rests are not required in midi. Notes are triggered by note on and note off commands.
The duration of the note is determined by the number of midi clicks between the on and off signals.
To make a rest move the following note to start later after the earlier note has ended.
