Re: [Ticket#2013111310001911] Creating Custom Tunings

Hello Rocky,

I have figured out from your lack of response for months now that Native
Instruments does not care if I remain a customer. I will not be upgrading
Absynth. And once the rational way of microtuning Kontakt is destroyed I
won't be upgrading that anymore as well.

As I understand it FM 8 no longer supports microtuning now also. I have no
reason to purchase a native instruments bundle.

I'm pretty shocked at the way my ticket was dropped, even the lack of how
to do a clean uninstall and go back to a working version of Absynth was
ignored.

My website only gets about 5k uniques a month but it is composed of mostly
microtonal composer like me. I used to feature your products. I can't do
that if your products use witchcraft to retune to something other than 12
equal.

It was nice while it lasted... At least Garritan accepts scala tuning files
without a fuss and cost way less than NI for close to the same quality. So
I can continue my work no matter what bizarre decisions your company makes
with respect to alternate tuning support.

Now it's time to take this saga to my fellow microtonalists.

Hi Chris,

What exactly is giving you trouble with tuning Absynth, Kontakt and FM8?
I have the latest "try before you buy" versions and can do micrtotuning
on them all without any trouble by exporting to the correct format
tuning files from Scala.

Hi Rocky,

Someone from the community helped - my thanks to Marcel de Velde, and I
apologize for my rant to everyone else except Native Instrument support.
I'm glad I spoke up, embarrassing as it is to express such
frustration, since I was able to get help, finally, after so many months.
