It's always a good idea to have as much memory as your operating system
can handle. You can have more programs open, the machine just
opperates faster. A fast machine also makes a difference,
the machine I'm using now (266 mhtz) has problems with me
doing almost anything while I'm

1. brodcasting real audio (49/32 Radio)
2. listening to ra or mp3 files

while my 366 mhtz laptop handles all this with ease.

microtonal content:

Sunday evening I heard Phill Niblock, here's the review
I just whipped out for the lowercase list. Niblock
isn't into ratios but he is into microtonal clusters,
these are probably super particular ratios resulting
in massive summation/difference tones.

here it iz:

and on Friday I heard Sasha Bogdanwitsch with another
composer at St. Peters Episcopalian church
on W.20th. Sasha sang with a string qt., and they also performed
a string qt by him in ji. Stunning. I'll tell you folks more
if I can find my program notes....
