Looking for some references on group theory

Hi all,

I'd really like to brush up on my group theory. You all gave me some
references on linear algebra last time and I found them tremendously
helpful, so could anyone likewise point me to some decent group theory
references as well? I think it would make the recent discussions on
rank-3 blocks go a lot smoother, and would also help me with this JS
tuning library I'm coding.

I'm sure the best references are textbooks, and I'd appreciate those
too, but if there's anything online that would be a bit more useful I
think.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi,
these two seem well done... but please consider that I am a complex analyst rather than an algebraist :-)

Claudi, much appreciated! I'm reading it now and I find it very helpful.

Thanks for taking the time to pin this stuff down!
