This may be hasty and foolish, like many of my tech questions, but

I can't seem to get a keyboard map to work with this scale, below, that GWS suggested.

That is, how to get the scale to sound for the entire length of the keyboard?

I've tried various defaults and also keyboard maps that work ok with my 36-note 11-limit scale. None give me a complete 'octave'. More than one sounding 'octave' should be possible with this scale--it works easily for other scales.

Any suggestions for given KBM's to try, or can someone post a KBM that will simply work?

If it does, I can study it and learn how to adapt it.

Here's Gene's scale:

Incidentally, I've posted another little improv that demonstrates *one* of the kinds of sound I like from my 11-limit scale.

here: http://www.box.net/shared/m37jhti1og#/shared/m37jhti1og/3/17990454

called Pianotech improv#0.mp3

(it hits each of the fundamentals available in the scale, with the melody doing a sort of voice-leading by adjacency, or words to that effect.)

I've decided to limit my microtonal studies to writing for Pianotech. Trying to do this with Logic has been too much of a head-ache. The Ethno 2 instruments don't usually have a wide enough range and I don't have the time to learn how to tweak them, for now.

So, big productions with Logic in 12-tone, probably serial but *NOT* microtonal.

And, Microtonal pieces for Pianotech, definitely *NOT* serial.

My mistake has been to try to combine all these projects into one, and it's too hard for me, with too many kludges.

Oops, sorry, I meant to post this to [tuning], not [tuning-math].
