Why temper this (diadie2 is pump9, a 225:224 comma-pump scale)
in orwell? Wouldn't marvel (only 225:224 in the kernel, yes?) be
more appropriate? What's in the orwell kernel?

In the orwell kernel if I recall correctly are 225/224 and 1728/1715. I
will need to wait to get home again to check why orwell, but I presume
I got something out of it in addition to marvel. Of course, marvel
gives much better tuning accuracy.

If you stick to this naming scheme, the point of the tempering is
george, not orwell, as it's the 11-limit implications which might make
one consider something other than marvel.
