Dilation scales

A simple yet effective way to get scales with a lot of some particular
structure in them is to take the structure, dilate it by an integer
factor N, and take the convex closure of the resulting figure. Because
of its shape, a lot of the favored structure will fit in. This works
for both JI and temperaments. I think I'll present some of the
resulting scales, particularly for dilated otonal chords, when they
seem interesting. At least, I'm planning on looking at them.
