A 13-limit holey scale

I see Yahoo has committed another atrocity with this New Look business.

In the 13-limit lattice with 3 at a distance of 1 from the unison, and
9,5,7,11, and 13 forming symmetrical A5 sublattice, we have a hole
with center |* 7/6 7/12 7/12 7/12 7/12> and radius sqrt(29/12),
containing 20 pitch classes:

[105, 165, 195, 231, 273, 315, 385, 429, 455, 495, 585, 693, 715, 819,
1001, 1155, 1287, 1365, 2145, 3003]

A scale version of this is:

[1, 78/77, 12/11, 39/35, 8/7, 13/11, 6/5, 26/21, 13/10, 4/3, 104/77,
78/55, 16/11, 52/35, 52/33, 8/5, 12/7, 26/15, 13/7, 104/55]

Tempered in 13-limit hemififths, the 41&58 temperament, this becomes:

[-39, -37, -31, -29, -28, -26, -25, -23, -19, -17, -16, -14, -13, -11,
-8, -6, -5, -3, -2, 0]

It looks pretty bad. . .

Hi Gene,

What's your beef with the new look?

The only major difference I've noticed is that the colours have
turned pastel; font sizes are unchanged. Apart from being able to
see the public details of other members (why? they're rarely
informative), not much else has changed.

In their notice announcing the new Look, yahoo offer two links - oe
to "find out more" and another inviting "feedback". If ýour
experience is bad, why not tell them?

as i just wrote to Yahoo:

one of my free email providers has this setup, and it's
always bugged me. and now i'm very unhappy to see it on
the Yahoo groups.

That bugs me, yes. Especially the first time, when I went the wrong way.
I am more bothered by the lack of an index of postings showing as many
as formerly, and find the new look itself somewhat distracting. I
liked the feature where you could put in a message number and get it;
presumably it has been removed as redundent.
