RE: Scale database?

The scale database is either one of:

ftp://ftp.cs.ruu.nl/pub/MIDI/DOC/scales.zip (binary)

and the listing

http://www.cs.ruu.nl/pub/MIDI/DOC/scales.doc
ftp://ftp.cs.ruu.nl/pub/MIDI/DOC/scales.doc (ASCII)

If you are using MSDOS the filenames will be truncated to 8 characters,
but can be renamed during unzipping.

Under Windows 95 or NT the filenames retain their full length if the
proper unzip program is used, download:
http://quest.jpl.nasa.gov/Info-ZIP/pub/WIN32/unz520xN.exe .

On an Apple Macintosh they can also be unzipped, download:
http://quest.jpl.nasa.gov/Info-ZIP/pub/MAC/unz512x.hqx .
