i create my own instruments on the kyma system. i mostly use midi as

and rhythms. this tool changes the tunings of all of my instruments in

it is tough to build expressive digital instruments. i don't think i've
been
particularly successful just yet, but i believe that in the long run,
digital
is the way to go. sample rates will improve, and so will the software
technology for controlling the instruments.
