Ensoniq MR-rack resolution

I have found the resolution in the Ensoniq MR-Rack to be 9 bits.
When using Single Tone Tune Change the least change that made any
difference was xx 00 20. Another thing worth noting is that the sounds do
not cover the whole 128 key range which is OK but the keys outside
the sounding range cannot be retuned. This means for instance that
a Grand Piano tuned to 24TET still has only 88 tones. Correct me if i am
wrong which I hope I am.
