the Joe Beck alternative

Sorry for the confusion. I got caught by the ambiguity of "alternate
tuning". I double checked with my friend, he says what Joe Beck was doing was
regular 12-TET.

Thanks for all the clarifying discussion!
Jim

At least we miss all the spam. "Loose weight with out Fen-Fen!",
"Make $50,000 now!" and so on...plus: lame isp's like...uh,
aol for example, don't seem to pick up all the newsgroup
messages. I find threads that have no beginning.

We're better off with a list.

It would be nice if we had threading automated for us, but you're
certainly right that the spam doesn't hit the fan very often in our
friendly little list here.
