Talibanned Buddhas

Carl, this was very emotional for me. It is expressed in a piece I wrote and
played (contrabassoon, cello, gong, metal bowls) months before 9/11. The
destruction of the 2 Buddhas, guarded only by the Hazara, in full witness of the
world, foretold the event of 9/11 and the Afghanistan invasion.
