I don't know. Maybe the survival of the religion

Muhammed Sallallahualeyhiwassallim, God's last viceregent on Earth, the Praised and Noble (may Allah bless him) would probably be quite unhappy with the lot. Moreover, he would be far less pleased that people like you remain disbelievers and that some `muslims` living abroad choose to moderate themselves to appease people like yourself.

Ozan, would it be fair to say you are an extremist? Also, I thought Muslims
had no problems with following the laws of any nation in which they live?

Inquiry:

how do you know what i believe in ?

Answer:

Allah knows best what you may or may not believe in. We are limited in our ability to discern your position, although we are not altogether incapable at making educated guesses based on your loutish remarks.

Ozan, would it be fair to say you are an extremist?

My faith is not extreme. Allah willing, to follow the codes of piety in Islam is far from radicalism. I am more properly what the English-speaking world could define as "fundamentalist", unless of course, it happens that I am more a phylacterical tartuffian than I realize. Nevertheless, I hope in earnest that the Grace and Favor of my Lord shall prevent me from going astray.

Also, I thought Muslims
had no problems with following the laws of any nation in which they live?

Be informed that the devout will never settle for anything less than full autonomy, and shall labor to acquire it by whatever means possible as necessitated by the religion of Islam. Less scrupulous muslims are expected to succumb to subterfuge and deception in order to realize those goals. Only those believers going through this transitory stage or `moderate` muslims living at large shall reject or seem to reject the commands of Allah (however temporarily) and agree to settle their judicial matters according to laws of Western courts. Eventually, Islamic Shariah is the backbone of the muslim ummah, which MUST be established for their solidarity and protection. Whether or not this goal is postponed, or altogether evaded by muslim communities in North America is another question which I cannot currently answer.

Cordially,
Ozan

Thank you, Ozan, for the straightfoward explanation below.

However, my take is that Western governments should immediately ban further
immigration of "fundamentalists muslims" for the very reasons you expose.

This explanation makes a lot of sense, but it is little understood. In other
words, if there is no permanency to Islamic visitors to Western countries,
then there is no expectation of Sharia being required. Unless, it matter little
and Islam seeks to conquer all countries in the world in its own time. That
would be a correct interpretation, no?

Dear Ozan,

frappant?
sacredotalism?
phylacterical tartuffian?

What English dictionary are you using?

I can figure out what you mean by "phylacterical tartuffian",
but it does seem to be a phrase you coined yourself ...
so metatuning has its own resident Shakespeare.

But I pride myself on my knowledge of English vocabulary,
and i have *no* idea what you mean by the first two terms!

Anyway, they sure are colorful! ;-)

Reminds me of the old days, back when i was first
learning about ancient Greek tuning theory:

hypaton ... diezeugmenon ... proslambanomenos ...

(which, BTW, is exactly what got me started on what is now
the Tonalsoft Encyclopedia.)

Dear Ozan,

frappant?
sacredotalism?
phylacterical tartuffian?

What English dictionary are you using?

Microsoft Bookshelf British Reference Collection English Dictionary and Thesaurus.

I can figure out what you mean by "phylacterical tartuffian",
but it does seem to be a phrase you coined yourself ...

Indeed. One needs to humble oneself even to the point of suspecting whether he is absolutely sincere in everything he says or not. Allah knows, I do not. But heavens! I try...

so metatuning has its own resident Shakespeare.

Me? My lexical shimmer is just a grumpy muslim's ranting, but that man... he was an examplary God-fearing artist of the first degree, a dazzling literary genius only equalled perhaps by Thomas Middleton.

But I pride myself on my knowledge of English vocabulary,
and i have *no* idea what you mean by the first two terms!

Anyway, they sure are colorful! ;-)

Thanks. It is the best I can do considering the morose cynicism I caddy around everywhere with me, no doubt a means I concocted to ridicule the vainglorious ostentation of pretentious disbelievers who think so highly of themselves to the brink of repudiating the revelations of their Lord.

Reminds me of the old days, back when i was first
learning about ancient Greek tuning theory:

hypaton ... diezeugmenon ... proslambanomenos ...
