I didn't think it was a great OR terrible movie. I was intrigued by the more neuroscientific questions, like, is it possible by habit to shut down the cellular receptors for certain food-supplied nutrients and neurochemicals, etc.?

And how much of neuroscience is getting CLOSE to understanding that there may be "spiritual", ie emotional and intellectual, causes of things like autism, ADD/ADHD, and Alzheimer's? And that "artistic" ie emotional and intellectual therapies may represent the real "cures", as opposed to drugs, etc.???

I didn't think it was teriible , just disapointing.
remember clockwork orange and what happens when you 'cure' someone, they lose interest in the good thing too.
And Marquez is wise enough to always show how such attributes go together.
Where would we be if someone would have cured Harry Partch
i question the validity of these deceases. The most pychiotic desease i see in manic happiness. and it is in epidemic proportions.
attention deficent. Just what is there to pay attention to out there anyways

Your music for one ;)

Which reminds me...I still want to buy your new hammer dulcimer CD
and/or trade CD's...I've been busy lately, but I want to burn
something for you and send it off soon...
