The Fun of Killing

I wondered how long it would take the larger media to pick up on this
story, which occured on Tuesday here in San Diego. Bear in mind this
Marine will be leading young men and women who have spent years having
a blast playing Doom and a lot of other games where it is really fun
to shoot and kill things...

Oh, and they won't do anything more than counsel him to use different
wording next time he talks about how cool it is to shoot people.

I had the unfortunate experience of seeing this on the news as I was
having dinner before heading off to work. Hearing this guy talking
about having a really good time shooting people, and then hearing
people in the room clap and laugh, made me just about throw up.
