heard the Ensemble Caprice today, a very impressive early music
group. The Gesualdo was particularly amazing and eye-opening... the
harpsichord piece sounded like Tatum in terms of restless and
completely unexpected turns of phrase and idea, amazingly wild!

What I'm looking for are some CD suggestions for the vocal and any
other works like the harpsichord piece I heard today that I'd like--
most you folks here know me,the wickeder and the wilder the
betterer,TIA.

you might like the CD of harpsichord music by Lou Harrison. Ligeti wrote (writes) quite a bit of music in different meantones tunings for harpsichord. there is also an interesting piece by kevin Volans for 2 harpsichord based on Mbira music
