I'm not sure how neutral it is, considering that it doesn't quote Strauss
himself that much, but rather, Drury, who's critical of Strauss. . . .

interestedly i found the same type of material mentioned by Popper in his second volume of
The Open Society and its enemies. He traces such Philosophy back to Hegel who was inspired by Plato.
You can't expect anyone of these neocon clowns to be original
I have to say the two together are one of the five greatest book i have read and although written over 40 years ago i can not think of a better comment and insight into the dynamics at hand.
