On another list, Neil H. posted a about the Starr Labs Wilson 990
Generalized Keyboard. I hadn't looked in a while. I now have.

For just under $9000 you can have a large, generalized midi keyboard
that makes no sounds whatsoever with its 810 keys and a couple of sliders.

I have a Midiman Radium controller that has 61 keys in the usual 7-5
layout, along with 8 sliders and 8 rotary controllers (assigned
however you want), as well as the usual midi kbd controller functions.
It also makes no sounds whatsoever, but only cost around $200.

There is a gap here that is going to have to be overcome, unless you
just want Haliburton officials to become microtonal players.

Cheers,
Jon

It is my understanding that a 31-tone keyboard taken out to 128 keys is in the mix. Prototypes are always the most expensive step and it is my understanding that steven taylors is working great at the moment. Of course any one out there is more than welcome to get such an animal together. this would be the most important act one could do. I frankly can't even consider doing electronic music until they are available. It is too simple to just use acoustic instruments. which still enable me to have an entire orchestra of orchestra. 30 years i have wanted a bosonquet, this on top of Wilsons 50 years. I am going to go ahead and make music and wait till it all passes me by , if ever.
