it appears that it can only record 3 min at 24-bit wav file. also it only accepts only one mic imput , so your recording would be mono. could not find cost

That's with the included 64MB card, maybe. But for $150-200,
you can get a 2GB card.

I believe that's a stereo input. Also it has a stereo
pair of built-in mics.

Around $450 street.

Actually, I *was* away, and just now getting back to email, etc.
Thanks for the heads-up; this device had been mentioned recently on
the phonography list, but I hadn't the time to check it out. It really
looks very cool, and I would only wonder about the quality of the a/d
convertors, which is the main sound quality question mark. But it sure
meets about every standard I have for a portable, with the exception
of wanting it to be a bit smaller, and for a slightly better style factor.

I'm sure that will be in the next iteration! :)
