Hot Dogs

Americans eat 7 billion or so hot dogs each year between Memorial Day and
Labor Day, according to http://www.hot-dog.org/facts/hd_vitalstats.htm

The mean distance to the moon is 384,400 km.

If the average hot dog size is about 15cm (roughly 6 inches), then laid
end-to-end, this amount of hot dogs would stretch from the earth to the moon
about ~2.73 times !!!
