Hi Jacky

There are antidotes both in conventional medicine and homeopathy.
Both penicillin and doxycycline are effective, and if you have a
friend who can write prescriptions in your state I don't think its
outrageous to have a months supply ( and now that it is in florida I
probably will follow my advice). The other route is homeopathy, and
we do have the homeopathic antidotes on hand. You can read more
about it and how to get homeopathics at http://www.medicinegarden.com/

But cases of anthrax do occur spontaneously, especially after certain
exposures for farm animals (I think - its been a while)

I wouldn't get too excited about the one case - honest. I find the
ebola at the afghanistan border much more "suspicious".

Peace,
Mary

ps. Latest from LBK - the night prior to the attack Bush spent the
night at the Colony Club here on this island. Early that morning
two "middleeasterners" who claimed to be journalists tried to get
through security before the presidents daily run. Evidently they
even knew the name of some secret service man, but they weren't
allowed through. Pheww! That day two other "Arabs" who had been
renting a condo here for several months disappeared and haven't
returned. This is all reported in our local weekly newspaper. Two of
the terroists also got their flight training about 20 miles south of
here.

I think our timing with leaving Florida is right on:-)

Sorry, Mary, but I just can't resist. Did you hear about the guy who
forgot to take his homeopathic medicine and overdosed? ;-)

In the case of a life threatening disease I personally feel more
secure with conventional antibiotics. But I have had very good luck
with homepathics, and I have no problem adding them to my own
regimen. One big advantage is that you don't need a prescription to
obtain them, and they have a very long shelf life.

Gosh I wish we had cheerier things to discuss.

You are aware, Mary, that that ebola report was from April?

No I wasn't. But I just went back to check the article and I see now
that it was filed 4/10/01. Nonetheless I could have sworn that the
original article I read had talked about August.

Actually here is a very weird sentence.

Dr Akhlaq Hussain, the hospital's medical superintendent, said: "The
first cases came in June. There were a number of deaths, but at first
we did not know what was the cause."

Was he talking about June 2000?

You can't help but notice there is a concerted effort to keep the
public from panicing by downplaying the downed Russian flight and the
explosion in the French Factory late in Sept.

Hmmmmm I should have been more clear - the Crimean Congo Hemmoraghic
fever is ebola like.

Undoubtedly.

Hmm . . . Every source I've seen tells the same story: U.S. spy
satellites seem to show that the plane was shot down by a Russian
missile, with the Russians vehemently denying the possibility of such
an event. Certainly very disturbing, but what are we to make of it?
Did terrorists board the plane in Israel with a bomb? Doesn't seem
likely (given Isreal's tight security measures).

That certainly must have been downplayed -- do you have a reference
on this explosion?

Yes check this story out

http://www.iht.com/articles/34600.html.

Of course again the "fresh evidence" could be someone's imagination
playing tricks.

With the ebola like illness even if it is from a "natural" reservoir
its not a great thing to have to expose ground troops to.

mary

And since these boys have been working hard to get biological weapons
for quite some time now, a mishap in their program is not at all ruled
out by this timeline.

I have a freebie newspaper that I picked up my last day in Paris
whose headlines are all about this event. It occurred in Toulouse
on Sept 21 or 22.

It's in French. I'll dig it out and post it.
