All;

Just a note, two films that I would recommend, which
are semi-topical...

The Battle of Algiers (was reportedly screened at the Pentagon)
The Great Dictator (Chaplin)

This *is* a great movie--I've seen it--worth seeing. Its has a wonderful
sympathy for *both* sides of the conflict, a rare feat in 'war' movies.

Indeed, my thoughts exactly. A good villian can make a plot,
and the French General, or whatever his title is, is a *great*
villian.

Chaplin was a *%$&%*$ genius, no doubt about it. The Great
Dictator is some of the best satire I've ever seen.
