And that is not all! Microtonal guitarist and composer Dante Rosati
teaches at Julliard, right in the den of lions!

This listener has gotten far more enjoyment from three of
Dante's tracks than from dozens of Brian's cassettes and
CDs. YMMV. Brian does have some nice stuff, especially
from an electronic music (the old kind) point of view, but
the signal-to-noise ratio isn't very good. Brian's CDs,
I should mention, are self-produced; CD-Rs last I checked.
He isn't signed by any established label(s) that I know of.
In fact, while Dante Rosati is busy making his living as a
professional musician, Brian McLaren sits alone in Oregon,
slapping tracks into Cakewalk on his inheritence. Not only
has he alienated himself from the tuning list, he's managed
to alienate himself from many of the microtonalists he used
to work with in San Diego, by snail-mailing lengthy attacks
much like the ones he posts here. He has also been banned
from Erv Wilson's quarters, by Erv. It's my guess that
this last fact explains why Brian has gone from writing
sincere though error-ridden articles on Erv's theory (one
on CPSs comes to mind) to attacking me as an Erv cultist.

Maybe I should collaborate with Brian instead. I'll send him a midi,
and he can turn it into electonic music.

Dante, it would be interesting to see what your 21-tone JI scale
consists of; we could move this to tuning if you like.

I guess my question was kind of dumb--Manuel also had it listed, as
rosati_21.scl.
