Asked and answered.

The real question here is: since Dante Rosati has by his
own admission not even produced a single CD of microtonal
music, and since he has lied and lied and lied over
and over again in public, and since he has repeatedly
stooped to hysterical name-calling as a half-assed
substitute for a rational argument...

...Why should anyone pay any attention to him at all?
What has Dante Rosati done to justify our taking him
seriously? Why should anyone even bother to give
this character the time of day?

I've had at least a couple of totally pleasant exchanges with Dante. If he
lied it did not bother me, and any such misinformation has not been
discovered. If he lied about personal information this does not much affect
me. If he lies about "facts of tuning" it will get figured out sooner or
later. What lies between personal information and facts is opinion, and
certainly I have not been hurt by Dante's opinions.

You might ask whether anyone else has a similar point of view about Dante.
If not perhaps you can dismiss everyone and ask yourself why anyone would
listen to you spend so much bandwidth with accusations that are not of
interest to anyone else. Of course that last phrase is in a hypothetical
context and it would therefore remain to be seen what the outcome would be.
Nonetheless hypotheticals are sometimes worth considering because they
remind that certain things as *possible*.

I think we can safely conclude from this post that you are admitting that
you have no idea where major triads came from. Calling it an accident of
history also amounts to saying "Brian dont know". So we see the pattern-
vicious attacks on the ideas of anyone and everyone, but no constructive
ideas to put in their stead. Quoting research papers by others without
drawing together the citations into anything constructive. Putting forth no
hypotheses, no theories, just invective and citations of work by others. Can
we conclude that the emperor has no clothes?

Where ever they came from I wish they'd go back...
When I got my first guitar and one of those little open chord charts
I accidentally though the chords were all referenced from the first
fret... when I found out they weren't, G major, E minor and D major
never sounded good again...

Irony?
