The vast majority do not. Historically bandwidth in the US
has increased linearly, not exp. Also, I believe I just read
something about broadband adoption being behind that curve.
The phone companies are apparently incompetent at deploying
DSL, and the cable companies deserve a boycot IMO.

Fortunately, much of Berkeley is covered with 802.11, and I'm
floating around here something better than a drug-induced stupor.

If the feds wanted to really do something for their country,
they'd install nationwide 802.11a. But that would empower
people. Can't have that.

Flash will soon be deprecated in favor of SVG, which kicks ass,
and may finally bring an age of good web apps that kill os's
as platforms.

I thought it was one of the best Flash sites I've seen. The
best, of course, being homestarrunner.
