one final "note" on the Zoom

I should hasten to mention, though, that it seems that the solid
state Zoom box really is just an "approximation" to some of the
overdrive, etc. sounds I have heard from live performance with,
undoubtedly, tube amps...

For me, though, it's just great, since the idea was, basically, to
get an idea of all the possibilities, but I think one really could
make a claim that the sound quality isn't quite like the tube amps...

Of course, it could also be my headphones or standard stereo speakers
doing that job... :)

Still, though, Zoom is a great device for learning what the various
distortion/overdrive, etc. parameters are, and how they sound
together... (rather than buying a string of foot boxes!) :)
