I saw this a while ago and haven't heard much about it since. It is quite
disturbing.

NY Post, 3/5/03:

Rehnquist's daughter to quit:
WASHINGTON--Janet Rehnquist, the daughter of Chief Justice William Rehnquist,
will resign as inspector general of the Health and Human Services Department
amid allegations she delayed an audit of Florida's pension fund.

The delay, requested by Florida Gov. Jeb Bush's chief of staff, ensured the
audit would not be completed until after last November's election, in which
Bush won a second term.

President Bush appointed her to the job in August 2001.
