This is terribly sad. Bartok was a great moral figure for openness,
liberalism, internationalism, and no war-monger. And to find the
music for strings, percussion and celeste anything but beautiful just
hows that the writer is deaf. (If it were Bluebeard's Castle or the
Dance Suite, then maybe, but not this piece). Too bad they could not
have chosen a more appropriate personality to parody.
