Alternative sources for news

The pablum on CNN and other U.S. news outlets brings new meaning to the phrase "self-censorship." If you want to know what's really happening, here are a couple of alternatives; each may, of course, have its own axes to grind, so as always, keep the hat of skepticism on.

Thanks John for providing these links. Yesterday I was looking for
al Jazeera online in English and couldn't find it - just now the link
you provided is not going through, but it could be all the traffic,
or they're updating, or etc. - I'll try again later.

Looking forward to trying the others soon. Times like these inspire
one to search out more quality sources of information...
