response to the nasty Salon anti-Nader thang.

One of the things that nasty Salon article neglects to point out, is that
at the time of the election, the Republicans actually seemed more
"isolationist" (the exact opposite of what they are now) than the Dems.
I wasn't too happy with what happened in Serbia, so all of Bush's
rhetoric at the time of "our troops being too extended" etc. seemed fine
with me.

Unfortunately, things changed.

Or, as evidenced by those "national security policy documents", we were
lied to at the time. . . .the Reps wanted to imperialize all along. I
guess it wasn't the first time someone's made the mistake of "reading
lips."
