well, its look as though we are in the final stages of war preparations. the
president and his friends blame france and russia for threatening to veto.
they've given up on diplomacy because they can't get the rest of the world
to agree with them. i wanted to share this list of U.S vetoes from 1972 to
the present with you. I think it says a lot about veto power and when it
should be used. the U.S has vetoed more resolutions than any other country
and often we go solo. this list demonstrates our our true principles in the
middle east.

scandalous and depressing. Notice that in 1982 we vetoed a prohibition of
chemical and bacteriological weapons. I would say rather: "this list
demonstrates our true >lack of< principles in the middle east."
