Absolutely gorgeous to hear him tell it like it is and stick it to Rumsfeld. Oh that Blair could stand up and be a European. Or even just British. All the opposition has to do is find someone with a glimmer of charisma and Blair could easily be toast come the next election. Old Europe my arse. My feeling is that Bush and his buds are actually more than a bit concerned about the evolution of the European Union into all that it can potentially be.

Thats right! After we subjugate the rest of the world, we'll have to declare
the European Union an "evil empire" so we can invade & take them over too.
All in good time.

You know, the shenanigans of the Bush 'administration' are already starting to look like a plot to destabilize the European Union. Well, one can see it that way without stretching one's imagination all that much.

Rumsfeld already compared Germany to Cuba and Libya and continues to take even greater liberties in his comments about European nations and Europeans than is expected of someone in his position. So if you were trying to make a joke, he may have beaten you to it.

G. W. Bush, along with Rumsfeld, Powell, & Rice, is in my humble opinion, the greatest threat to global stability & peace since the height of the cold war.

Cheers,

Iraqi weapons-program defector Khidhir Hamza:

"the following two points are abundantly clear to me: First, the U.N.
weapons inspectors will not find anything Saddam does not want them
to find. Second, France, Germany, and to a degree, Russia, are
opposed to U.S. military action in Iraq mainly because they maintain
lucrative trade deals with Baghdad, many of which are arms-related."
