actually, as timothy mc'veighs bombing in oklahoma city
took the life of a large number of children. it should
be pointed out that the us gov't first started putting
child care facilities in potential nuclear first strike
areas, so in the event the soviets used nuclear weapons
on us gov't facilities, it would be "bad press" for the
russians.

well at least people in the gov't realize that a good
portion of the population hate them....

as the world may well be better off without that
totalitarian ex-cia lackey and all around lout,
saddam hussein, and it might be safe to assume
that other former cia ass bin laden has died
from liver disease. but, then there still are
the arafats of the world ( ours as well as theirs)...

however, i really doubt the son of the cia chief
who is involved up to his eyeballs in starting
the mess, is going to deliever a stunning succesful
conclusion.

in fact, i finished up the wiring so i can use
the generator to heat up the hot water tank.
( actually, a regular hot shower is the only
thing keeping me 'sane' )...

and when i get around to it, i'll put the replacement
parts on the spare wood stove. it might come
in handy as a 'cook stove' someday...

horrors ! i starting to think a bit like those
wacko 'survivalists'. (btw, that dry and dehydrated
shit food those rip-offs sell, is the worse thing
to have on hand in a disaster, since usually that
means not enough clean water. so a few ordinary
cans of food (moist) from your usual store is
actually the best thing to have).

!!! You have a wood stove too? Ours is coal/wood. What sort of area do you
live in? Are you in a log cabin?

I just get a few cases of baked beans and canned peaches
everytime I hear alarming news. I seem to have a lot
of it actually...

Of course I fill up all my buckets and bottles and such.
The well pump is electric which sometimes troubles me
that there is no easy way to get the water out but if
I need to I can boil water from the pond on the wood
stove and I figure it will be fine.
