this myth can be laid to rest. the egyptians built the pyramids
themselves.

darn, i wish i knew that last year! the place i where
i stayed for my one night in Rome was only a few blocks
from Santa Maria Maggiore, and i walked right past it
several times, but deemed it less interesting than other
things i wanted to see. i would have gone in to see
that painting.
