well of course, christians had david koresh, and all

it's not that i want to defend islam or put down christianity,
however, i suspect, that the de-syncronous nature of the middle
east is a bit confusing for people who hear mostly stuff
about the alleged 'social security trust fund' and 'afforable
pescription drugs' on the glass toilet everyday.

with learning some on the bagalama-saz and dumbek, i've also
learned that a great portion of the tunings isn't in writing,
but rather part of folk tradition.

also, the koran/qu'ran also has a lot of the same material
as the bible, really just a variant of the bible, with some
other parts added...
