Peoples reaction to this is so pathetic I can only imagine when they
start to "punishing" people in droves they will look the other way and
assume they had it coming. we know little about it either way. we do know
that others have complained about this officer and have had trouble with
him-unless you want to believe that they all tried to kick where he probably
has very little. yawn
We are surrounded by the manic claiming they are innocent, either by by
ignorance ( their media tells them so) or by hiring (taxes) others to do
their criminal acts for them (politicians). And they do a very dirty job of
it.
Cocteau in his film Orpheus understood that the greatest crime in the
underworld was "innocence"
Too often we let the "news " decide what is important and what we should
direct our attention to. They have there own agenda
All this is a big diversion from Bush's and Cheneys Criminal acts, its
companies, the energy crisis, the foreknowledge of 9/11, the subversion of
the voting rights of the others. etc. etc. And for those with pensions,
think about how much you lost recently and are going to continue to lose.
the hell with some kid and him driving without a license they have robbed
you and have placed your children in debt to line their pockets. And their
pockets have never been FATTER!

I really would have to see the film to know what to think. I know if someone grabbed my balls, whether he was handcuffed or not, I would hit him in the face if I could. I certainly wouldn't fault a cop for doing what I think is reasonable, but I don't know if his balls were grabbed or not.

I have trouble with this possibility and think jury members will as well.

Also, I couldn't tell from the footage and maybe someone knows. Was the guy
that punched the kid the same guy that slammed him down on the car (only
switching places).

Yes, I find this very suspicious. I am a natural cynic, so I would have to see some pretty convincing evidence before I believed this highly improbable scenario. My point was that if this is indeed the case, I would have punched him, and wouldn't blame the cop for doing the same. Unfortunately the LA cops have a deservedly horrible reputation going back decades, and no one seems interested in shaking things up in the department. Remember police chief Daryl Gates saying that all drug users should be shot in the street without trial?
