Peaceful Democracies

Even if we take the article's argument seriously, one thing it leaves out
is the fact that we (again, pretending that we are in fact, a democracy)
support, have supported and continue to support, totalitarian states
across the globe such as Iraq, the Taliban, numerous South American
dictatorships, etc.

If we want to commit ourselves to democracy. . . then we should commit
ourselves to democracy . . .even if it's only the 1/2-assed kind we have
here.

"we" is right (for readers in the u.s.) -- stop voting for
republicrats!
