Well, if you "thot" that all was lost, "thnk" again. Type "Anita Roddick" into Google, and see if you don't get:

1. Her site, AnitaRoddick.com, as the first listing, and
2. The allegedly 'pulled' ad on the right.

They've either backtracked or sumthin'.

In any event, a well-designed site, with the correct usage of meta-tags and submissions to search engines will drive it's own traffic. And if she is in fact running a blog, then she would know that the entire premise of blogs is to cross-link constantly and drive people to thought-provoking sites.

Well, the good blogs do, anyway.

Sounds like a happening kind of person (I'd be interested in her book) and while I cringe at that kind of knee-jerk censorship, she may well have played it to her advantage in the end anyway.

You know, you come up with some of the most interesting topics...

Cheers,
Jon

the was a whole thing recently when google bowed to the Crutch of
Scientology and removed links to the site of their biggest critic:
http://www.xenu.net/ (which actually comes up first if you type in
"scientology"! ha!), then later put them back following an outcry. They seem
to make these kindof mistakes from time to time but at least they put them
right after.
