Jeff and others, catch the article on Islam on the front cover of today's The
New York Times (Saturday). I'm half done, but this seems truly timely.

Oh, and Rev. Graham has officially apologized for the comments he made to
Nixon (who agreed with Graham). Graham claims he doesn't remember saying
them, though he admits he must have (this in the New York Post on Saturday).
Regardless, claims Graham, he does not hold to that position and hasn't for
years.

You know, Jeff, this may be the age where religion is coming under fire. My
position is that I want to be supportive of different belief systems. In no
way do I want to undercut the foundation of another person's life. This is
also the time when all my friends warn me against flying certain places
because I am an American Jew. One thing I do know, honesty must ring. And
so the Catholic priests must come clean about institutionalized pedophilia.
The real drag is that those with brand label religions easily disregard
anything else. Clearly we are looking through different reality glasses.

Johnny!
If things can be discarded easily then there is a strong possibility that
its foundation is inadequate. I am more interested in clear perspective than
upholding medieval veils.
The only thing
Personally Ethics and Religion are two different things and need to be
separated.
It is hard not to swallow the parapathology of Monotheism militarism in any of
its forms.

The religions of
Sex is Bad, Greed is good
are useless except for the corporate establishment.

These gods would become more pleased by
Each Church instead of housing these exploiters could house a 100 homeless.

yes i disregard all they falseness and if it offends others too bad. They are
making me vomit.
They are thieves

Possibly we no longer need institutions as intermediaries who use this position
for political and exploitative means.
Each Is better off contacting the divine directly. I don't these
