Brief hello

Hi, everyone. On Nov. 18, I imposed a one-week moratorium on list
reading, which has stretched out to include the present and the
indefinite future. I found that, through my own fault, I was investing
far too many hours each day reading and responding to list issues, both
tuning and otherwise. Those recovered hours have been invaluable in the
pursuit of other fun projects, like my actual job for example. ;->

In the last couple of weeks, I've posted some of my photographs (another
long-standing passion), and have written an image enhancement program,
with examples posted at

http://personal.atl.bellsouth.net/atl/j/d/jdelaub/pix0.htm

(scroll down to the Image Enhancement part). Some of those pix really
blow me away as to what is hidden that can be brought out! If any of
you happen across any digital photos of your own that you'd like me to
try enhancing, please send'm! I can convert formats with software that
came with my camera.

I hope everyone is well. Please write me off-list with any issues,
tuning, image, or otherwise. Have a fun and safe new year!

JdL

I'm about to join you, save for MakeMicroMusic. Be well, and I'll
take a look at the photos...

Cheers,
Jon

We miss you. Good to hear from you and to know that you're OK!
