If it makes you feel any better, you're not the only one.

For me, what's even more disturbing than the death and destruction
of contemporary Iraqi life, is the fact that *America's* weapons
are destroying the great legacy of knowledge that was left there
by the Sumerians 4000 - 5000 years ago. There are hundreds of
thousands of clay tablets still buried in the sand in Iraq, and
a lot of them have been and will be destroyed by our stupid wars.

You know, according to an Iraqi Kurd trying to become an Australian citizen,
there are now 150 pinpointed locations for biological and chemical weaponry.
A major one sits below a major hospital in Baghdad.

I hope there is no need to invade Iraq. I hope that if there is a decision
to invade, it is because there is no choice. I hope al Queda forces do not
make it to Kashmir in large numbers. And I am so happy that Afghanistan has
another chance to breathe, and perhaps bloom, as a nation.
