I tried out proxymitron too.

I notice that proxymitron doesn't just remove the
ad, but it also reduces the size it occupied to a tiny text area
with the word Ad, giving more space for the rest of the page.

Reading the help, apparently it re-writes the html on the fly to remove the
ad rather than just blocks it, and can re-write javascript etc.
too. Rather interesting.

Also noticed that the programmer has added textures to the
backgrounds of the programs dialogs. I hadn't realised
one can do that, and am experimenting with it
as a possible new option to FTS for next upload, just for fun.
