soil erosion and depletion

National Geo did a compelling piece in this months magazine on this
major issue which is getting little attention due to it's
'unsexiness', nevertheless nothing short of the future of human
survival is at stake.

I had recently discovered that one of the most widely written about subjects in geology is sedimentology. acouple of periodicals dealing with nothing but this!
