What tuning is fascist?

Wouldn't JI be the fascist one? I mean you've got 1/1, the emperor of emperors, and then you've got certain lesser dukes and princes, 5/4, 3/2, etc, then you've got the outer kingdoms, 11/8, 13/8, etc., and then all of the lowly peasants, 4337/4335, etc. etc.

Looks like a nice neat hierarchy of power to me, no?

Well the CPS tunings don't have a 1/1 and many of the tunings the 1/1 is rather an arbitrary
the diamond i would tend to agree with you leaning that way.
but i guess then you have a fascist green:)

Kraig, you may or may not remember, there was once a lecture by Jules Siegel in a NYC Microtonal Symposium at NYU which I titled (to Jules' great approval), "Confessions of a Just Intonation Fascist" (or something like that).

My personal experience is that JI enthusiasts can be quite carniverous. ; )
