BlackandJill, my work for soprano and electronics, performed by
Meredith Borden on the recent AFMM concert is now online for your
streamed listening pleasure:

This is a piece in the near-just-intonation 22-note "Blackjack" scale.

I must humbly state that I think this is one of the more interesting
things I have ever done... maybe it's the combination of the
two "opposites...": voice and electronics...

I'm listening now....fantastic!!! Are you using some samples for the
electronics, or is it all raw sythesis? I love the triangle sound,
and also the "textural glurpies" that begin a couple of minutes
in!!! This might be favorite thing of yours that I've heard so
far....bravo!!!

Now, no offense to M. Borden, who sings just lovely, but I'd love to
hear a piece in similar vein *sans* a singer of any sort, just my
personal preference... ;)... I *love* what you are doing with the
electronics.

***This is just the presets of the TX81Z (pre samples)... but I'm
pretty careful
which ones I choose...

***I have to humbly say that I think it probably is one of my more
successful pieces...

***Well, I have some other electronic pieces on the same page in
_Blackjack_ and then the *prototype* of this piece, only done in MIDI
is on the "Tuning Lab" page:

http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/tuninglabmusic.htm

However, I might find it a little odd should you prefer that to a
live
singer... :) but one never can tell!

Thanks, Aaron!
